Job overview:
Supporting the General Manager, the Digital Marketing Executive will manage and oversee our digital marketing strategy - including social media, content management, email marketing, and blog writing alongside PR, advertising, photography, website maintenance, creating brochures and marketing collateral, as well as internal communications and event promotion for two event venues.
Responsibilities:
* Implement marketing plans and strategies for two events venues.
* Maintain the company website and update content. Monitor and optimize the performance of the website to increase traffic, conversion, and search ranking.
* Monitor and proactively improve the performance of the company's websites.
* Work closely with the wider marketing team and business Directors to ensure the effective and timely delivery of marketing strategies for individual brands in line with company objectives.
* Implement our paid social and media campaigns. Generate exciting and engaging content for the different social channels and provide reports with recommendations based on the results.
* Create and copywrite optimized and engaging blogs and e-newsletters that incorporate best SEO practices.
* Provide reports from Google Analytics and other reporting tools.

* Liaise with graphic designers and other departments within the business and external agencies to create content.
* Assist in developing a digital marketing strategy to enhance SEO.
* Gather content, design, and create regular newsletter communications to specific venue audiences through Mailchimp.
* Monitor competitor activity online. Identify areas to further promote the business through PR, Advertising, and Marketing.
* Provide general support and ad-hoc duties as required by the GM and the Sales & Marketing team.
Required skills:
* Flexibility to understand the needs of the business and manage time and workload accordingly.
* Understanding of social networking channels & previous digital marketing experience.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Highly motivated with a proactive approach.
* The ability to work independently and in a team.
* Creative flair.
* Experience in copywriting, design, and photography/videography would be advantageous.
* A social media enthusiast & expert.
* Fantastic time management and organization skills, with an ability to prioritize workload.
Personal specifications:
* Have previous experience in B2C marketing, ideally within a non-corporate service-based organization.
* Must have a driving license.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* A strong and confident communicator.
* Enthusiastic and flexible approach to react on a day-to-day basis to all requests.
