Job title: Workforce Administrator

Working Hours / Contract Type: Part time, 20 hours per week, permanent
Salary: £25,000.pa pro rata
Here at Yarls Wood Immigration Centre, we are looking for a Workforce Management Administrator to join our team. The role of the Workforce Management Administrator is to work as part of a team, ensuring effective management of staff leave and scheduling. They need to ensure leave is reviewed in a timely manner and actioned in line with company policy and effectively capture any shifts that are to be scheduled on the company's in-house system.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Managing staff leave, ensuring to adhere to a leave threshold system and being the point of contact for staff with leave queries.
2. Overseeing and responding to the functional inbox.
3. Agreeing shift swaps amongst colleagues and actioning on the system.
4. Working closely with the Detail Coordinator to help in agreeing overtime with staff if required.
5. Ensuring training dates for staff are added to the staff schedule on the system.
6. Updating and maintaining staff information, such as contact details and lateness reports.
7. Contributing to the delivery and achievement of all performance measures, contract outcomes, and locally agreed targets including KPI's/CDIs as outlined in your personal development review.
8. Adhering to the Code of Conduct.
What you will need:
1. GCSEs - Maths, English
2. Strong IT literacy - competence and ability with Excel in particular is important in this role.
3. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with all grades.
4. Collaborative team worker.
5. Solid organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate workload based on deadlines.
6. Sound ethical and professional standards.
7. Confident and credible.
8. Can demonstrate ability/experience in working within a busy environment.
9. Must be able to multi-task varied and demanding workloads.
10. At all times maintain professional boundaries and adhere to the Serco Code of Conduct and local policies and procedures.
