About us Dr Karen Morton is a 'doctorpreneur', developing a health tech solution for everyone, but for women in particular. After years of dealing with a multitude of gynaecological issues over the phone she concluded that medicine had been slow to embrace communication technology and was somewhat stuck in a past era where it was traditional for all patients to come and sit in front of the doctor when they have a problem. This was whether they needed to be examined or not. In hospital work this is exemplified by the extraordinary practice of bringing people 'back for results' when these could so easily be communicated by email, letter or phone. The Dr Morton's mission is to deal with the gender health inequality and the impact it undoubtedly has on career progression. We are a team who advocate that employers and individuals should receive immediate access to a woman's health expert. Dr Morton's provides direct access to expert gynaecologists, free at the point of care. Our customers are the Practices and PCNs which we serve. The Primary Care model in the UK is no longer fit for purpose and this is the first step to supporting GP practices with specialist services, with women's health needs at last being addressed head-on.
