Main Function: As a Relief Housekeeping Assistant, you'll be a key player in making sure our service users have a clean and pleasant environment. Your work will help make their lives as comfortable and enjoyable as possible Main Responsibilities: You'll be the cleanliness champion of the property, ensuring everything meets our high standards. Whether it's working alongside other staff members or helping service users keep their personal spaces tidy, you'll be there to lend a hand. Sometimes, you'll work according to a rota, and other times, you'll follow the direction of senior staff. You'll also have the chance to mentor new staff, sharing your knowledge and skills in housekeeping tasks. Plus, you'll stay informed by attending staff meetings and participating in training sessions. Health & Safety is a big deal, so you'll undertake appropriate training to keep everyone safe. And don't forget, you'll be part of evaluating our service standards to make sure we're always at our best. Being aware of the control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH) is important, and you'll be expected to perform other relevant duties as needed by senior management. Qualifications & Skills: No need to worry if you don't have direct experience although if you've worked in a care setting before, that's a bonus You'll need basic computer skills, including using Microsoft Office and the internet.
