Overview of role: The MEP Site Manager will manage a key site in Epping and may travel to other Sites as required. The MEP Site Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing all on-site activities, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the execution of construction projects, with a focus on MEP systems, ensuring that all phases are completed on schedule and in accordance with project specifications. Manage on-site staff and subcontractors, ensuring that all personnel are working efficiently and meeting quality and safety standards. Work closely with the MEP design and engineering teams to ensure proper installation and functionality of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Enforce health and safety regulations on-site in coordination with health and safety consultants, ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with company and legal safety standards. Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications, identifying any potential issues and resolving them promptly. Act as the primary point of contact between the site and project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and senior management, ensuring clear and effective communication. Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress reports, safety audits, and any relevant paperwork required for project completion. Produce O&Ms with the assistance of the project coordinator. Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are in place to avoid overruns. Quickly identify and resolve any site-related issues or challenges, minimizing disruption to the project timeline. Skills and Experience: Demonstrable site management background, with strong experience in projects involving MEP systems knowledge of ASHPs would be of benefit. SMSTS, CSCS are required. Certifications: Relevant health and safety certifications (NEBOSH). MEP Expertise: Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance. Knowledge of project management tools and CDM Regulations.
