Sodexo is looking for a Hard FM Team Leader to oversee and guide our site-based engineering team, ensuring seamless operations for key government infrastructure at DEFRA Border Control, Sevington, Ashford.What you'll do:Leading a team of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance.Managing technical compliance, stock levels, and subcontractor coordination.Taking ownership of M&E services and infrastructure, ensuring health and safety standards are met or exceeded.Supporting out-of-hours reactive services and emergency call-outs.Acting as a key liaison with the client, Facilities Manager, and the Helpdesk Command Centre.Driving improvements in performance, compliance, and sustainability initiatives.What you bring:5 years' experience in building services/engineering.A Level 4 NVQ or equivalent in engineering.Strong technical skills and a background in managing safe systems of work.Leadership experience in a technical maintenance environment.Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and CAFM systems like Maximo.Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.Desirable:IOSH Managing Safety certificationHND in a relevant engineering fieldExperience within the Facilities Management industryWhat we offer: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.
