JCB Attachments has a fantastic opportunity for a Product General Manager
This challenging and exciting role will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our product offering, our commercial strategy and sales tools to drive and enhance dealer sales performance.
Overview of the role:
Working closely with other functional heads, the successful candidate will be responsible for setting and delivering a business strategy that drives sales growth of Attachments with New machine sales and in the Aftermarket through the JCB Dealer Distribution Network.
The successful applicant must be self-motivated with strong product, commercial, sales and leadership skills, and have a proven track record of identifying and delivering new opportunities for growth. They will need to develop, manage, and measure business plans with budgets and sales targets. They will communicate market information and sales opportunity into the other business functions such as operations and externally to our dealers to ensure that all parties are aligned to achieving the market opportunities.
As part of the product strategy the successful candidate will ensure we have the correct supplier strategy and that suppliers have the product, cost base, capacity and capability to support our global ambitions. Being responsible for our commercial operations and pricing strategy is vitally important to the group growth plans and management of margin.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director - JCB Attachments, this highly rewarding and varied role will require some worldwide travel and the ability to work and communicate within all levels of JCB.
About you:
· An ability to develop, inspire, lead and influence others
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
· Extensive experience to develop strategic product growth plans and effectively implement actions to improve performance.
· Strong Commercial and business background.
· Well-developed analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities.
