The Role
Join us as a Heat Pump Engineer, installing, servicing, and maintaining ground and air source heat pumps, radiators, and underfloor heating systems. You will receive on-the-job training, manufacturer courses, and professional development opportunities, working with a supportive team to deliver high-quality energy solutions.
Responsibilities
* Assist in installing and commissioning heat pump systems and associated heating systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and best practices.
* Enhance electrical knowledge for safe installation and maintenance of electrical systems related to heating and plumbing.
* Gain understanding of water regulations and low-temperature heating systems to ensure compliance.
* Follow health and safety procedures, report PPE issues, complete risk assessments, and attend training.
* Complete all required training courses and maintain documentation as directed.
* Stay updated on technical developments, assist with administrative tasks, and undertake ad-hoc duties.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in installing radiators, underfloor heating, cylinders, and plumbing pipework.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work well in a team.
* Commitment to safety and adherence to safe working practices.
* Positive attitude, patience, and proactive approach.
Extra Credit
* Level 2 Plumbing, Heating, or Heat Pump qualification from a recognized awarding body.
* CSCS or similar H&S qualification indicating knowledge of site safety protocols.
