Lakelovers, part of the Sykes Holiday Cottages family, have the exciting opportunity for our latest Maintenance Operative to make a difference at our Ambleside offices!
Key Responsibilities
1. Resolving and reacting to guest complaints and providing a satisfactory outcome to any maintenance situations which arise at properties.
2. Resolving the daily schedule of tasks that are given to you.
3. Where repairs cannot be self-delivered, you will liaise with the responsible person to source appropriately experienced and qualified contractors.
4. Recording information accurately and processing jobs completed via the companies KEA system.
5. Carry out regular, periodic checks of the properties, including Property Inspection and maintenance checks, record the findings using the online management system.
6. Working closely with our owners and guests, either by telephone or face-to-face, on a daily basis to ensure they are receiving the support they need.
7. Monitor and set the heating and hot water controls in line with seasonal changes.
8. Compliance with all Health & Safety, company legislative policies applicable to the operating environment.
9. Maintain the company vehicle to a high standard, making and recording regular checks and reporting any faults in a timely fashion.
10. Ensuring your vehicle is adequately stocked and you have all the tools and equipment you require to complete the task in hand.
11. Addressing any Winter property improvement projects – decorating and other maintenance required.
12. Supporting our QA’s from time-to-time by completing thorough property checks to keep our properties in tip-top shape all year around.
13. Processing of any Business expenses, through the companies Concur system in a timely manner.
14. Sorting and arranging any refuse collections as required.
