Location: Commutable to Radstock
Remuneration: £50,000 + discretionary bonus
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits packageThe role of the EstimatorCommercial Glazing Systemswill involve:
Estimator position producing estimates for the design, fabrication and installation of aluminium curtain walling, windows & doors
Review tender documents and produce high quality tender returns
Utilise specialist estimating software to determine material costs
Negotiate prices with supply chain and gather quotations for projects
Liaise and build relationships with main contractor throughout the project and beyond
Ensure that the internal CRM system is regularly updated
Preparing handover documents for the contracts department, once a project has been secured
Attending pre and post tender meetings as and when required
Estimating for projects ranging in value from £100,000 to circa £1,000,000
Supporting and developing a Junior Estimator
Prioritise own work load to ensure deadlines are met
The ideal applicant will be an EstimatorCommercial Glazing Systems experience with:
Must have estimating experience within the curtain walling, windows and doors market sector
Ideally will have a strong background dealing with architectural glazing, curtain walling, fire rated glazing, structural glazing, windows & doors
AutoCAD, LogiKal, V6 Software Systems experience would be advantageous
Ideally will have people management skills
Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
Must be IT literate (Microsoft Office)
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness
