Position: Business Development Manager
Location: Flexible (travel to HO required at least once a week)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum + £5,400 car allowance + commission

Our client is a leader in providing comprehensive end-to-end logistics solutions. They specialise in Sea Freight, Air Freight, EU and Time-Critical logistics, supported by Customs and Bonded Warehouse services. Additionally, we offer warehouse storage and UK transportation.
The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced BDM/Sales Manager/Executive to join our clients team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in logistics sales and the ability to sell a wide range of logistics services across various industries and trades.
Benefits:
Base Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
Car Allowance: £5,400 annually.
Commission: 1.25% of turnover value during the first 12 months of trading. For example, meeting a £2.5M sales target would result in £31,250 in commissions, distributed over the year.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities.
Sell our clients logistics services, including Sea Freight, Air Freight, EU logistics, Time-Critical logistics, bonded storage, warehouse solutions, and UK transportation.
Build strong relationships with clients across diverse industries.
Meet and exceed sales targets, with an expectation of generating accounts worth £1M+.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless logistics solutions to clients.
Attend weekly meetings at HO and represent the company at client meetings or industry events.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in logistics sales is essential.
Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel as required.
Working Hours:
40 hours per week, generally 8:30 am 5:00 pm, with some flexibility to meet client needs.
