Aruba Edge Campus Networking UKI - Enterprise Sales Intern
Support to Aruba Enterprise Sales Team:
1. The Enterprise Sales Intern has the opportunity to support the wider Enterprise SalesTeam in enabling their end user Customers and Partners within the Intelligent Edge Networking market.
Reporting:
2. Reports are a large part of this Sales Support role and producing clear and concise reports; perhaps with effective analysis, is vital to support the Enterprise Sales Team.
3. CSIS and Power BI are used on a daily basis in order to facilitate reporting within the Sales Team.
Excel:
4. Sellout reports are produced daily to ensure members of the sales team are able to track their deals.
5. Pivot Tables are also used regularly to summarise large data sets.
Communications:
6. Prepare and participate in bi-weekly forecast calls to ensure the forecasts are accurate for the Sales Team.
7. Organise team meetings to discuss relevant and important business once a month.
8. Autonomy over various projects to get the most of being an Intern in Aruba.
Marketing:
9. Opportunity to use ECP to produce professional information within emails to be distributed to partners.
10. CenterPoint can be used to create effective and polished events; mainly for contacts outside the organisation.
11. Event Calendar is also used in these cases to ensure successful events are coordinated punctually.
Extra:
12. Assist the Head of Enterprise Sales with forecasting and SFDC. This also applies to members of the Sales Team; as this is restricted to only their deals.
13. Integration with other Aruba interns – cross role systems support for holiday back up to develop more knowledge across the organisation.
14. Help to manage one off events and focus sales days.
Opportunities for development:
15. Customer meetings – visits to clients and partners for sales meetings & partner reviews.
16. Aruba Improvement Plan – help the leadership team to develop and build upon the strengths of our business by identifying areas we can improve
17. Support for customers sales events – internally and externally.
18. Involvement in the UK Aruba Instant On growth plan.
19. Sales readiness optional training programme.
Key learning framework :
20. On boarding to understand Aruba strategy and key propositions. Deliver presentation back to management team within 90 days. September 2020.
21. Within first 60 days arrange to meet with UKI Mngt team – this is planned into your diary. Key contacts are Matt Valentine, James Dunlop, Helen Speak, Steve Prescott, Nick Walters, and Simon Wilson.
22. Develop proficiency in use of MS Office, SFDC, CSIS, PowerBI and CenterPoint.
