Join our Building Solutions team at Johnson Controls as Head of Inside Sales. You will lead a team of Inside Sales Renewals Specialists, Consultants, and Lead Specialists, focusing on customer engagement and account management for our equipment and services. You will mobilize cross-company teams, including digital and services, to enhance Johnson Controls’ strategic business.
You'll be responsible for sales activities and achieving KPIs by coaching team members on prioritization and customer engagement. Support team members’ skill development and lead training sessions. Build collaborative relationships with local and national sales teams. Foster a performance-driven culture through recognition and contests. Ensure accountability and high performance while managing your team.
Proven experience in leading inside sales teams, ideally in Fire, Security, HVAC, Technology, or Software sectors.
Strong understanding of inside sales concepts and processes.
English proficiency in business with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to supervise an annual sales pipeline of $5M+
Experience in coaching and motivating team members.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
We'd ideally love you to hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Commerce coupled with knowledge/experience in Salesforce and PowerBI, though these are not essential for the right candidate!
