Job Description
A professional family based in Sunderland is seeking a Nanny to support their family on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Sundays.
The family has 3 young children aged 18 months, 4 years, and 7 years, and requires an organised and flexible Nanny to help manage both home and business. They also have a teenager who will be home at times but does not require care.
The Nanny will be an experienced childcarer with a good understanding of child development and the ability to provide age and stage-appropriate activities that follow the children's interests. They will be familiar with working alongside parents and have the ability to adapt to the needs of the family.
During weekdays in school time, the Nanny will care for the 18-month-old whilst siblings are at school. In holidays, the Nanny will care for all three younger children. The ideal Nanny will have SEN experience, as part of the role will include one-to-one time on Sundays with their 7-year-old boy who has some additional needs, so that Mum can spend time with siblings and attend any appointments.
The Nanny will ideally be able to offer at least 16 hours per week, with the ability to offer additional hours for evenings, events, or appointments as agreed in advance. There is some flexibility on what these hours may look like; however, as an example, this could be:
1. Monday 10-5 (7 hours)
2. Tuesday 12-5 (5 hours)
3. Sunday 10-2 (4 hours)
Pay is negotiable depending on the Nanny's previous experience.
