My client, an Asset Management firm based in the city, is looking for a dynamic Early Careers Specialist to join their team and support the complete early careers recruitment cycle across both sides of the business.
About the Role:
As an Early Careers Specialist, you will be a key point of contact between the business, recruiters, agencies, candidates, and new hires. Your responsibilities will include:
Marketing Strategy for Campus Recruitment:
1. Organise and manage attendees for recruitment events
2. Manage university society partnerships
3. Draft text and share images for social media posts
4. Advertise opportunities through the university's careers services
Recruitment Process Coordination:
1. Set up opportunities on the applicant tracking system
2. Screen video interviews and conduct face-to-face interviews
3. Coordinate assessment centers and final round interviews
4. Provide feedback calls to unsuccessful candidates
5. Manage candidate progression in the applicant tracking system
6. Respond to inquiries in the graduate recruitment inbox
Candidate Onboarding and Administrative Tasks:
1. Liaise with HR shared services for candidate onboarding and visas
2. Act as a point of contact for candidates from the offer to the joining date
3. Manage keep-in-touch communication, social events, and gifts
4. Arrange payment of invoices and ad hoc reporting requests
Insight Events and Training Programmes:
1. Manage programme schedules and social activities
2. Communicate updates and reminders to students
3. Gather personal and profile information for delegates
4. Manage feedback processes for interns and analysts
Junior Lateral Recruitment Support:
1. Create and post job advertisements and descriptions
2. Drive all aspects of the recruitment process administration
3. Schedule interviews and follow up with candidates
4. Track and report on recruitment fee spend
5. Liaise with HR Shared Services for background checks and onboarding
About You:
1. Proven experience in a Recruitment Coordination or Early Careers role (minimum 2 years)
2. Experience in a fast-paced corporate and commercial financial services environment preferred
3. Ability to work collaboratively and confidently to build partnerships with key stakeholders
4. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information
