We currently have an exciting opportunity for a confident and capable Wedding Coordinator to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for those with a passion for Weddings and Events, with a background in hospitality and customer service, to build their skills in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Management of the full sales process from enquiry through to booking and delivery of the event.
* Managing the communication process - Dealing with clients in person and via telephone & email. All requests should be responded to in a professional & timely manner, endeavouring to convert every enquiry into a sale whilst providing the highest level of service.
* Prepare detailed operations sheets for each wedding or event, detailing client’s requests and communicate this effectively to all relevant departments.
* Carry out and complete all instructions for wedding or event set-up on the day of the event.
* Ensure all quotes and contracts are accurate & presented to each client to Ballymagarvey Village standard.
* Conduct private show rounds of the estate and represent the venue at scheduled open days and evenings.
* Provide support to additional departments as necessary including, but not limited to, Reception & Reservations.
The ideal candidate should have:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in an events/wedding role (preferred).
* A competent professional sales person and an excellent communicator.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* A positive, professional and friendly approach.
* Focus on providing exceptional customer service.
* Ability to work on own initiative, multitask, and work under pressure.
* Flexibility to accept a demanding work schedule in a busy environment.
* Competency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
* Ability to learn and utilize various computer software programs.
Training will be provided, but previous experience is preferred and beneficial.
Candidates must have fluent English.
