The Land Manager reports directly to the Head of Land and Strategic Projects. You’ll be a key part of the team, ensuring that a steady landbank is maintained to support Pobl’s future development pipeline. Your role will involve collaboration with various internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure that the land acquisition process aligns with Pobl’s strategic goals, particularly in areas focused on regeneration and growth. What skills and experience do you need? To excel in this role, you must have a solid background in land acquisition within a residential context, with a proven track record of successfully delivering substantial land programmes. Experience in handling the legal and technical aspects of land deals is key, as you will be responsible for leading these processes from start to finish. You should possess strong problem-solving skills, particularly in technical and financial areas, and have highly developed communication skills to effectively negotiate and work in partnership with various stakeholders. A relevant degree or equivalent in a field such as planning or surveying is required, or you should have at extensive experience in a similar role. Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of land or planning processes in practice. As the role requires you to spend time out on sites throughout South Wales a driver would be required. What are the pay and benefits? £57,673 for a 37 hour, full time, permanent position Flexible working policies – this role is hybrid with regular time spent out on site, covering all Pobl properties throughout South Wales.
