A market-leading manufacturing company with direct supply to supermarket chains and discount retailers are recruiting an Area Sales Manager covering Llangollen, Shrewsbury, Telford, Wolverhampton, Worcester, Dudley, Birmingham & Walsall (Ideally you will live in or around Telford, Shrewsbury or Wolverhampton as this is central to the territory)
This role requires a strong FMCG territory sales background and the ability to drive new business growth while maintaining existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop existing accounts while seeking new business
* Promote company brand and products to potential and existing customers
* Drive sales growth and exceed targets
* Adapt approach to offer bespoke services to various account types
* Utilize the internal sales team for regular orders and follow up on new leads
* Participate in conference calls and head office meetings
* Manage diary, work autonomously, and hit sales targets
* Develop and maintain customer relationships
Requirements:
1. Proven FMCG territory sales background (2 - 3 years experience)
