An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Haematologist with an interest in lymphoma and General Haematology to join the team at Withybush General hospital. We are looking for a highly committed and motivated individual to join our Haematology team as we start to introduce subspecialisation into the health board. Our dedicated team of 7 consultants provide a comprehensive haematology service in an area of outstanding beauty. This post will introduce a Lymphoma subspecialty to our team as part of a redesign of haematology services across the Health Board.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Clinical - The appointee should demonstrate experience in the management of Lymphoma and General Haematology.
2. Inpatients - Participate in an attending and on-call rota for the Haverfordwest site.
3. Outpatients - Expected to participate in 3-4 clinics per week within Lymphoma and General Haematology.
4. Weekly health board wide MDT and opportunities to join other MDTs from all Wales MDTs.
Minimum Requirements
* Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice.
* 10 Sessions with 1xSPA per week.
* Clinics in other hospital sites may be required (virtual clinics are an option).

Essential Qualifications
* Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice
* Valid Certified Advanced Life Support Skills
* MBBS or equivalent
* FRCPath or equivalent
Essential Clinical Experience
* Broad based experience in clinical haematology
* Knowledge of clinical governance
* Safe and effective communication skills
