Cloud Enterprise Architect - Energy Trading - OUTSIDE IR35 A Cloud Enterprise Architect with a strong background in Azure is being sought by a major European Energy company for an outside IR35 contract role. This will be based in London on a Hybrid working basis with two days per week in the office. The Cloud Enterprise Architect is responsible for designing and supporting cloud transformation initiatives, aligning cloud architecture with business and IT strategies, and ensuring the integration of cloud and on-premises systems. The Enterprise Architect (Cloud) works closely with Domain Architects to implement cloud solutions, while ensuring security, compliance, and cost optimization across cloud environments. A key component of the role will be to drive the adoption of cloud-native SaaS and PaaS solutions, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises systems and identify and recommend new technologies to benefit the company. Skills and Experience required: Proven experience in cloud transformation, SaaS, PaaS, and hybrid environments. Expertise in cloud platforms; specially Azure but knowledge of (AWS & GCP beneficial) and integration with on-premises systems. Experience in enterprise architecture and system integration with cloud focus. Knowledge of cloud security and compliance, including data protection and regulatory standards. Experience with EAM tools and cloud-based tooling for architecture management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for cloud infrastructure and system optimization. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and guide teams. Knowledge of service portfolios and how cloud solutions align with business objectives. Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect). University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
