What our client is offering for the successful Sales Manager:
1. Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum DOE
2. Hours of work: 8:30 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday

The Role - Sales Manager:
6. Drive sales to increase customer base both in the UK and overseas as well as oversee internal sales operations.
7. Provide Project Management, Commercial Sales Support, and Customer Relationship Management to ensure the sales process runs smoothly and any issues are dealt with professionally and efficiently.
8. Regular UK travel as well as the possibility of European travel.
9. Manage other members of the Sales team, ensuring the company and customer requirements and objectives are met.
10. Develop and implement sales administration procedures - including a CRM system, and sales follow-up calls.
11. Responsible for all aspects of customer service – managing and implementing continuous improvement.
12. Manage Sales accounts on a day-to-day basis and visit clients/prospects as and when required.
13. Prepare Quotations and liaise with the Engineering Team to ensure layout/product designs and technical quotations are delivered on time.
14. Raising Sales Invoices and monitoring customer payments to ensure it is in line with the agreed terms and conditions.
15. Full responsibility for updating and monitoring trade price lists for UK and International customers.
16. Involvement with marketing activities, and attending Exhibitions and Trade Shows when required.
17. Production of sales report information, including Sales Forecasts.
18. To make suggestions for new products - either suggested by customers or from observations of the market and trends.
19. Attend Sales Meetings and New Product Development Meetings when required.
What our client is looking for in a Sales Manager:
20. Experienced in a similar role - ESSENTIAL
21. Must have experience in B2B sales and come from a technical products background - ESSENTIAL
22. Ability to understand technical drawings
23. Clean UK driving license - ESSENTIAL
24. Must be proactive in their sales approach and be willing to travel for business
