Chelmsford Theatre has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to expand the supportive and collaborative Technical Theatre Department. Chelmsford Theatre presents an ever-evolving programme of national tours, local productions and a hugely successful in-house pantomime. The successful candidate will be joining the Theatre at a time of significant growth and development.
This role requires a dynamic and focussed person who thrives in busy environments with a passion for technical excellence to bring high quality entertainment to the people of Chelmsford and Essex. Previous experience across multiple technical disciplines is essential, having competency in lighting, sound, flying, stage management and relevant health and safety legislation. Ongoing professional development and training opportunities are available.
Excellent communication and organisational skills are required along with enthusiasm and a positive attitude, able to effectively problem solve and prioritise your workload.
This is a full-time permanent position, 37 hours per week, on an annualised hours contract with evening and weekend work. Five weeks annual leave plus bank holidays with a generous pension and healthcare scheme.
