Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Mental Health - High Wycombe - Education and Training
Start date: Role to start in January. This is a permanent opportunity and an excellent entry-level role for psychology graduates seeking long-term careers within educational or clinical psychology.
Ideal for Psychology or Health and Social Care Graduates before committing to an MSc/Doctorate and Research Project.
This role will allow you to see a range of therapists, SEN, ABA Tutors & Mental Health specialists at work.
This role is all about giving children a sense of purpose. Can you make the children's lives just that little bit better?
Responsibilities:
1. Support students with Autism and various learning needs.
2. Deliver key and personal/functional skills in a tailored curriculum.
3. Work alongside OTs, Specialist SEN Teachers, and outside agencies.
4. Engage with students in classes of 6-8, focusing on their individual needs.
Requirements:
1. Psychology or Health and Social Care degree.
2. Ability to work in challenging environments.
3. Understanding of de-escalation techniques and language.
Salary: £460-£500 per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4:30.
