Position: Content Creator
Location: Primarily based at our Plymouth Head Office, with a presence required across our South West operational regions. We offer flexible hybrid working, with some remote work possible, alongside regional and national travel as needed.
Hours: Part-time 24 hours per week - Flexible to fulfil the requirements of the role and the Charity’s priorities.
Salary: £23,800 - £29,800 (depending on experience)
Reports to: Business Manager

About the Role:
We’re looking for a talented, creative Content Creator who can help tell the stories of the people we support, our dedicated team, and the charity. You’ll create engaging digital content to showcase the charity's mission, values, and achievements across our website, social media, and other communication channels. The role requires regular travel to visit our people and places, so access to a car is essential and reasonable travel expenses will be paid.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Capture and share Havencare’s stories: Create content that engages and encourages interaction for multiple social media platforms and website. Promote the charity's work, tell our story, and illustrate our mission and values through high-quality photos, video, and written content.
2. Promote engagement in the Charity’s mission: Produce engaging content that showcases our journey to achieve our Big Aims and objectives. Read about our Big Aims here: 2024-Havencare-Big-Aims.pdf
3. Showcase our values: Work closely with the Business Manager and teams to plan and coordinate content that aligns with our campaigns and key messages.
4. Support on marketing projects across the organisation: Edit videos, images, and written material to ensure a polished, professional presentation. Use analytical tools to adjust content based on data insights.
Requirements:
1. Passion for our mission to support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, brain injuries, and other needs.
2. Proven experience in content creation, storytelling, copywriting, and scheduling for digital platforms.
3. Strong storytelling ability with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A people person, someone who is empathetic and an active listener, sensitive to people’s life experiences and challenges, able to connect with others.
4. Ability to work independently and visit various locations across Plymouth, Devon, and Cornwall (a driving license and access to a car are essential).
5. Proficiency in photography, videography, and editing tools is desirable.
