About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced data-driven Content SEO Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be an expert in content SEO, digital PR, Google algorithm optimisation (on-site and off-site), and programmatic SEO. You will play a crucial role in growing organic traffic through content optimisation and being a hands-on content creator who understands how to align SEO and user experience to improve onsite conversion rates.
This position requires a data-conscious, strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to create and grow organic traffic by implementing simple yet effective organic content growth strategies. Core responsibilities will focus on:
Content Strategy Development:
1. Audit our ecosystem of content to identify traffic growth opportunities aligned with SEO best practices and marketing objectives.
2. Identify relevant tech optimisation use cases of existing content to improve search engine indexing and rankings.
3. Conduct in-depth keyword research using tools like SEMrush and Ahrefs to identify high-opportunity topics and keyword groups to enhance content relevance and reach.
4. Optimise content taxonomy, metadata, and internal linking strategies to improve crawlability and indexing by search engines to increase organic traffic.
5. Optimise page titles and headings to create a logical heading structure and maintain a clear content hierarchy.
6. Identify and reduce duplicate content for location-specific pages to increase rankings and traffic.
7. Collaborate with the PR & Brand lead to align content, product launches, and ensure a seamless integration of on-page SEO elements with broader marketing goals.
8. Oversee the creation, editing, and publishing of high-quality content, including blog posts, landing pages, case studies, and social media posts.
9. Follow a consistent tone and voice that reflects the brand’s identity.
10. Work with internal tech resources to create and implement programmatic SEO to target users based on keywords and care type products.
