Project Manager - EPC UK Grid
* Location: North East, United Kingdom - hybrid working available
* Start date: ASAP / Feb 2025
* £500 - £600 per day, outside IR35.
* Hybrid working, 2 days working from home
Responsibilities:
* Lead, coordinate and oversee the successful delivery of protection and control equipment on sites - from point of order right through to installation and handover.
* Work with the manufacturing factory, engineering team and commercial teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, to quality & SHEQ standards and within budget.
* Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and manage their expectations.
* Manage and foster a strong relationship with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
* Identify and resolve any project issues that may arise.
* Prepare and submit non-conformance reports.
* Work with the internal engineering team to assist with project processes and efficiency.
Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar related field.
* 3+ years Project Management within the UK renewable energy industry.
* Experience working with DNOs and TSOs in the UK.
* Strong understanding of primary electrical equipment and systems used for transmission/distribution/power generation networks.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
* Project Management qualification (desirable but not essential).
