We are excited to announce an opening for a committed and experienced Process Team Leader to join our pioneering team at our Hillhouse Site in Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire. About the Role of Process Team Leader As a Process Team Leader, you will manage production delivery against Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People (SQDCP) utilising the daily and weekly production plans for the relevant assets, coordinating materials, resources, and suppliers to enable optimised production. You will be expected to use SHE systems and production performance to ensure accurate and timely recording of SHE and production information, to support data-based decision making. Our successful candidate will have the responsibility of line managing teams, including coaching and development to ensure operators gain and maintain the appropriate level of technical competence for the role. You will also be responsible for out of hours production decisions, escalation point for shift technical production matters and emergency coordinator for relevant manufacturing assets. An expectation of this role is to identify, implement and manage short/medium term continuous improvement plans alongside supporting broader manufacturing improvement plans. Collaborating cross-functionally with various teams including SHE, quality and maintenance teams. Skills and Qualifications Our ideal candidate will be highly organised and computer literate and able to problem solve and trouble shoot within the remit of the role. You will bring experience of managing production teams in a complex, hazardous and regulated environment, along with demonstrable experience of applying best practise safety and continuous improvement methods and techniques. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and team management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Nature of the role involves 24/7 shift working, which will be compensated with a Shift Disturbance Allowance (SDA) of £9,425.45 per annum.
