Service Care Solutions are supporting a reputable non-profit provider in recruiting for a Outreach Recovery Worker. This service has supported Service Users with addictions for a number of years and prides itself on providing the best care and support to Service Users. We are looking for a dedicated individual with experience working with Service Users with addictions.
The role of an Outreach Recovery Worker
As an Outreach Recovery Worker, you will play a crucial role by supporting individuals suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. The ideal candidate needs to be experienced in the field, highly driven, and able to identify positively within a service user, as well as have the ability to develop potential within them. The outreach involved in the role is within clinics run in the area.
Key roles and responsibilities for an Outreach Recovery Worker:
* Complete assessments with Service Users
* Support individuals from Point of Entry
* Provide screening, assessment, and recovery plans
* Deliver one-to-one interventions
* Conduct outreach in the community for hard-to-reach Service Users
Minimum requirements for an Outreach Recovery Worker:
* Experience of working within the substance misuse field
* Awareness of health issues relating to substance misuse
* Experience of key working and care planning
