Due to our continued growth and planned future growth, we are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Specialist to deliver health and safety across our site located at Omega in Warrington, St Helens, UK to ensure that WIOSS Witron On Site Services is meeting its legal and moral obligations to its employees and customers.

Your role in our team:
* The role will involve providing expert health, safety and welfare advice and guidance to managers and project teams.
* Delivering the provision of an effective Occupational Health and Safety service, including policy development, policy and strategy implementation, accident investigations, well-being, and problem solving.
* You will have relevant experience in working in a health and safety environment, advising management on resolving health and safety issues, the ability to interpret and advise on UK Health and Safety legislation and the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with managers, project teams and customers. In addition, maintaining Health & Safety records, including first aid and rescue at heights documentation.
* Responsibility for the implementation and delivery of Health & Safety training on site.
* Mechanical or electrical qualification to Level 3.
* Membership of IOSH professional body minimum, NEBOSH qualification required.
* Working knowledge of UK Statutory requirements and compliance with current Health and Safety Legislation.
* Excellent analytical, investigative and communication skills.
* Ability to coach on-site staff.
* Willingness and ability to travel within the UK (and occasionally outside of UK).
