With sustainability at the heart of what we do, we empower businesses and individuals to reduce their carbon footprint while saving on energy costs As a Commercial Solar Sales Consultant at Plug Me In, you will be instrumental in driving the growth of our Solar energy solutions within the Commercial UK market. Reporting to the Sales Director, your focus will be to: Achieve personal annual sales targets of at least £1.25m. Develop tailored sales strategies to identify and secure new Commercial clients. Build and nurture long-term relationships with both new and existing clients. Stay ahead of market trends and competitors through effective market analysis. Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities for EV chargers and heat pumps. Maintain in-depth knowledge of our renewable energy products to showcase their value effectively. Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing and telesales to enhance the customer journey. Deliver timely, detailed sales reports to the Sales Director, using CRM software to track interactions and performance. Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility. What You’ll Bring: Full UK driving licence is essential as this is a field-based sales role. Wealth of Commercial knowledge in the Solar industry. Proven track record in sales, achieving or exceeding targets. Expertise in relationship-building with clients and managing sales pipelines. Familiarity with CRM software and its role in driving sales success. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to close deals and foster client loyalty. Creative problem-solving to address customer needs and refine sales processes. Organised, self-motivated, and able to adapt to the dynamic renewable energy sector. Sales techniques and methodologies that engage and convert prospects. Understanding of business operations and financial principles. Knowledge of renewable energy products and solutions.
