The Role Our client is a leading student lettings company dedicated to providing outstanding accommodation experiences for both students and landlords. As a Lettings Manager, you'll lead a proactive team and oversee all aspects of the lettings process, from advertising properties to finalising tenancies.
What's on Offer?
Salary: £30,000 (DOE) plus bonus scheme. Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM - office based! Location: Office-based in Durham City Centre - public parking available at a charge, close to public transport links. Benefits: Competitive holiday entitlement, pension scheme, and professional development opportunities. Travel Requirement: Due to the need for travel between sites in the North East, a valid UK driving licence is essential.Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Lettings Consultants, monitoring performance and KPIs. Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors. Compliance: Ensure adherence to lettings regulations, including conducting Right to Rent checks. Communication: Handle enquiries through multiple channels, including email, phone, live chat, and WhatsApp. Marketing: Advertise properties and work closely with the Marketing Manager to promote events. Property Management: Oversee the entire lettings process, including conducting viewings, negotiating offers, and securing agreements. Recruitment: Support the Branch Manager in recruiting and on-boarding new team members. Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with rental market trends and HMO licensing.About You
Experience: A strong background in lettings or property management is essential. Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams and meet performance goals.
