We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and organised Office Manager for our Sixth Form team. In this role you will work at the very heart of the School and play a key part in ensuring that the day to day life at the School runs smoothly. The Office Manager provides day-to-day organisational, administrative and fundamental pastoral support to the Sixth Form and assists the Examination Officers in the running of mock and public examinations.
You will partner with the School Secretary team, Marketing and the Admissions team across all divisions ensuring a smooth flow of communication to parents and students. You will be one of the first points of contact so your presence and energy have a big impact on the parents' and students’ experience.
This is a full time term-time plus post (40 weeks) working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 4:30 pm (we would consider 8.30 am to 5.00 pm for the right candidate). Applicants are advised that occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support School functions/events.
The successful candidate will have experience as:
* A School Secretary/Office Manager or equivalent role
* Substantial relevant experience that demonstrates a high order of literacy, numeracy, analytical, and IT skills or educated to degree level or equivalent
* Ability to empathise with 16 - 18-year-olds in a Sixth Form environment
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organisational instincts and administrative abilities, with an exceptional eye for detail
* Diplomacy, discretion, professionalism and a respect for confidential information
* Ability to work well with others, as part of a mutually supportive and forward-thinking team
