Looking for a position within a large SEMH specialist school? Reed Education Cardiff are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher to fulfil a temporary, long-term placement within a Specialist Education site, working with KS4 pupils. The school is based within Weston-Super-Mare supporting young people within the Secondary phase, providing a specialist environment where pupils can flourish. The purpose of the school is to provide a nurturing environment where students feel known, accepted, and loved. Personalised learning plans are tailored to individual student needs, ensuring that teaching and learning can be adapted to support the learning journey. They are committed to helping students feel a sense of belonging and to have a voice, enabling them to reflect on their journey, appreciate their achievements, and walk confidently towards their future. As the Teacher, you will be/have: Patience, resilience and the ability to adapt your delivery where required Passionate about working with young people with SEMH Previous experience working with SEN/SEMH with knowledge around EHCPs Available five days per week on a long-term basis from April 2025 An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one The salary for this role is currently set between £169-195 per day.
