As an Associate Finance Business Partner, you’ll work alongside senior finance experts, providing essential insights to Factory Management and Operations teams that fuel smart, profitable decisions. Join the Business Finance Team and take on a dynamic position where you’ll: Collaborate across teams: Build strong connections with Business FP&A to interpret factory trends and cost drivers. Analyse and impact: Dive into transactional processing and analysis that directly influence financial strategy. Stay on the pulse: Follow structured SOPs and ensure tasks meet Group standards, hitting KPIs and SLAs with precision. If you're detail-driven and passionate about making numbers work for business success, this is the role to elevate your career As a Finance Business Partner, you'll be at the core of our financial planning and reporting processes, with a focus on: Business Partnering: Assist Senior Finance Business Partners in turning financial data into actionable insights. Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders to stay informed on operations. Gather data for profit improvement, analyse P&L and trends, and produce operational reports. Support cost centre reviews, respond to ad-hoc data requests, and assist with overhead reports. Forecasting: Collaborate on forecasting processes, providing accurate data and cost drivers to FP&A for forecasting and business planning. Support cost centre managers in preparing accurate overhead forecasts, including variance analysis. Product Costing & Pricing: Support standard cost resets and end-to-end costing processes, maintaining financial controls. Assist in product costing meetings, ensuring all launch costs are captured, and provide costing analysis for new products. Capital Management & Investment Appraisal: Help prepare capital forecasts, identify project slippage, and contribute to corrective action plans. Communication & Change Management: Develop relationships across finance and operations teams to communicate updates, support process improvements, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Control Environment: Ensure compliance with internal controls, support audit processes, and improve site adherence to standards. People Management: Train and guide Associate Finance Business Partners, providing performance feedback and growth opportunities. About you. Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products such as MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel. Understanding of Operational Finance. Previous experience in working with Business Intelligence Tools (preferred but not essential). Strong understanding of accounting concepts and/or currently undergoing professional accounting qualification AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA training (preferred but not essential). Ability to engage and effectively build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to manage time effectively, meeting tight deadlines, prioritise and manage multiple tasks. Ability to identify and escalate unstructured and ad hoc issues. Comfortable operating in a fast paced and dynamic work environment, open to change and positively contributes to the growth and transformation of immediate team.
