As the Head of Internal Sales for the UK&I you will be responsible for leading a 35-person, multi-site virtual sales team to driving growth across a multitude of offers and channels. Your role will involve inspiring, guiding, and supporting to drive revenue, improve operational efficiency, and ensure a high-performing and motivated team. In this dynamic and challenging position collaboration with the wider organisation is fundamental to the success of the department so excellent communication are a must, along with the ability to think strategically and manage change. Responsibilities: Manage the Internal sales strategy ensuring alignment with overall zone targets and BU objectives. Develop and implement sales goals, and action plans for each sub function, considering coverage models, market conditions and customer needs. Form relationships with respective internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategy and maximum impact can be achieved in each role. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, implementing initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. – Example is Sales Engagement tool. Monitor and analyse sales performance, KPIs, and targets for each team member, providing regular reports and feedback to senior management. Collaborate with other departments, such as Marketing and Operations, to ensure a coordinated approach on topics such as lead management and campaign activity. Enhance the reputation of the department and support the continuous development of the team members. Enhance the high-performant culture and ensure the department continues to act as a talent pool for the wider commercial organisation. Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to support the growth and development of the sales team members. Skills & Experience: Strong people management skills used to effectively manage and motivate a large sales team. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies across multiple channels / customer types. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
