IKEA Exeter is looking to welcome a Sales & Sustainability Assistant.
As a dedicated Sales and Sustainability Assistant at IKEA, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the balance between excellent customer service and sustainable practices. Your remit will be to contribute to the product quality, safety and recovery of our IKEA products in the store.
WHAT WE OFFER
* The Start Date of employment will be: 14 and 15 December.
* Competitive hourly rate of £12.00 per hour (rising to £12.60 per hour in 2025).
* 24 hours working a week, ordinarily this will be four 6-hour shifts per week, and include working 3 in 4 weekends. During the week, a variety of shifts may be offered to suit yours and the business' needs.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
* Re-purpose, present and sell IKEA products with pride, and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the business.
* Work closely with the different functions in the unit to ensure that common working routines and processes are followed related to product quality, safety and recovery.
* Support, execute and follow the product quality guidelines for recalled, returned and ex-display stock, to constantly improve customers’ perception of our IKEA products.
* Assembling IKEA products behind the scenes for display in our Showroom and Market Hall; great if you enjoy building our products!
