A full clean UK driving license is essential with the role being mobile NVQ / Apprenticeship or a higher national diploma (HNC / HND) in electrical engineering or a related subject Proven experience (four years) working as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar role within the electrical industry Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals Hands-on experience with testing equipment and diagnostic tools Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Exceptional communication and customer service skills Willingness to travel to client sites as needed and work flexible hours What will your role look like? Conduct on-site installations, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of electrical systems and equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to electrical systems, including but not limited to motors, generators, control panels, and wiring Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential problems and ensure equipment reliability Accept duties assigned by management that align with the role's strategic focus Collaborate with internal teams and customers to understand technical requirements and provide effective solutions Document all service activities, including maintenance reports, service logs, and parts used, ensuring accuracy and completeness Provide training and technical guidance to customers on adequately using and maintaining electrical systems Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in electrical engineering Participate in a 1 in 4 Callout Rota system What can you expect in return?
