The unit is seeking to recruit two experienced Clinical Trial Managers to work within our multidisciplinary team to ensure successful delivery of trials. They will work closely with the Chief Investigator, other researchers, and clinicians to ensure efficient and successful completion of the trial. The post holders will also be responsible for supervising the activities of other members of the research team.
Candidates should have a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject, and/or significant experience as a clinical trial manager/coordinator, along with a track record of successful project management of clinical research. They should have experience of working within multidisciplinary teams with significant skills in understanding and applying knowledge to address complex problems and challenges.

NCTU is a rapidly growing UK Clinical Research Collaboration registered Clinical Trials Unit ( www.ukcrc-ctu.org.uk ) based in the School of Medicine at the University of Nottingham. Our mission is to conduct top quality, high impact multicentre clinical trials across a range of health areas which will improve health outcomes. We have a broad and expanding portfolio of trials. In addition, we conduct methodological work to improve the efficiency and quality of trial design, conduct, analysis, and reporting. NCTU has close links with NHS Trusts, universities, and industry partners.

Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week). However, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours.
This post is offered on a fixed-term contract for 24 months. Job share arrangements may also be considered. Please note, there are two vacancies available in the School of Medicine for this role.
