Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to oversee and manage on-site operations for the construction of utility-scale Solar PV and/or BESS projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure project completion on time, within budget, and according to safety and quality standards.
* Coordinate with stakeholders, supervise construction activities, and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Your Role Will Encompass:
* Studying and understanding project design as provided by engineering headquarters.
* Reporting daily progress and materials received to Construction Manager.
* Monitoring construction material stock.
* Supervising subcontractor activities and ensuring compliance to design.
* Communicating design changes and updates to subcontractors and ensuring compliance.
* Implementing Project Quality Control program.
* Overseeing subcontractor installation work quality and precision to design.
* Evaluating construction methods and determining cost-effectiveness of plans.
* Investigating site damages, accidents, or delays.
* Supporting implementation of corporate QHSE Procedures.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in utility-scale Solar PV or BESS construction.
* University or Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering.
* Proficiency in English language.
* Excellent use of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD software.
* Clean driving license.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to manage a team and perform under pressure.

Estimated Salary:
£60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
