About the Role:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Manchester Area. As a support worker, you will play a crucial role in providing care and assistance to adults and children. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting individuals in their daily activities, promoting independence and well-being.
* Assisting with personal care, medication administration, and meal preparation.
* Implementing behaviour management strategies to address challenging behaviours.
* Building positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
Requirements:To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Experience:Previous experience working with children and adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Care
* Must have at least 6 months UK care experience and Right to work in the UK
* An up-to-date DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service – Should you need to apply for a new DBS we can support you with this.
* An up-to-date CV with all employment history
* To be able to commit to an assignment, to ensure structure and stability for our service users.
* Skills:Excellent communication skills, empathy and understanding approach.
* Availability:Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
