About the role: We are looking for someone interested in ethical trading to support and assist the continuous development of the Next and Lipsy global corporate responsibility strategy and to help improve the compliance of the Lipsy Group supply chain sources. This will involve supporting identifying where issues exist, making decisions and reporting on the improvements required and aiding in action plans to achieve the required standards. Responsibilities: Auditing • Ensure that the new supplier onboarding and induction process is followed • Process New Site Requests (NSR) and factory self-assessments for inclusion in audit planning • Complete a risk analysis prior to auditing, based on factory self-assessment • Schedule audits and coordinate with the global team as needed. • Shadow auditors and train to complete and carry out audits independently. • Ensure that critical issues are clearly identified and communicated to the relevant supplier • Maintain the SCOP system with site and audit information Code of Practice Process • Review COP auditing standards and processes for continuous improvement • Support suppliers/factories/product teams/global COP team with management of corrective action plans • Build and maintain supplier relationships • support in the management of ‘Cat 6’ rated factories for your Lipsy; liaising with relevant product teams and global COP team colleagues to ensure appropriate action is taken and internal records are maintained • Departmental admin support tasks • Participate in relevant project work which supports the company’s ethical and corporate responsibility approach Reports • Help to analyse contract assigning reports to track suppliers/buying teams who are not providing accurate supply chain information. • Update internal systems with COP systems with audit new factories and updated COP data. • Liaise with suppliers who have not assigned factories to contracts according to business requirements • Attend and contribute relevant updates to COP UK team meetings Your Talent • Demonstrates passion for ethical trading with an appreciation for compliance processes and practices • Able to travel throughout UK with potential overseas travel when required • Exceptional organisational skills and interpersonal skills • Excellent communication both written and verbal • Ability to adapt and prioritise a challenging workload • A natural problem solver • Able to work alone but enjoying to work in a team in different projects • Amiable, positive, professional, approachable and polite at all times What we can do for you • 25% off a huge selection of Next, Lipsy, GAP and Victoria's Secret products & 10% off most partner brands & up to 15% off Branded Beauty • Hot deals and exclusive offers from over 3,500 retailers through Perks At Work • We recognise hard work with our company performance-based bonus • Life Assurance • Join our Next Sharesave Scheme • Digital GP Service for help at home • Lesson the impact with our Annual Travel Card Loan • Never miss a package and with Direct to Desk delivery • Bag a bargain at our sample sales • Hybrid & flexible working across the business to support your work-life balance • Learn, develop and grow with our personal development plans • Enjoy more time with friends and family with Early Bank Holiday finishes • Join in the fun with our year-round office events Diversity & Inclusion At Lipsy Group we recognise that our differences are what make us who we are.
