Title: International Evidence Evaluation Band: 5 DBS: not required Base: Hybrid, mainly home working with requirement to attend infrequent in person meetings (i.e. average of one per month) Purpose The Public Health Economics & Value Team is developing evidence and resources to make the case for investing in (public) health and prevention, capturing the wider (social, economic and environmental) impacts, helping national and international stakeholders prioritise policy and finance decisions against a backdrop of constrained resources and growing national (e.g. cost of living increase) and global (e.g. climate change) challenges. There are many requests from Wales Health Boards and NHS Trusts, Welsh Government and other national and international stakeholders in relation to 'what works', 'solutions' and Value in public health and related international approaches, policies, best practice and horizon scanning. Additional asks are coming in relation to the renewed MOU

The post is for an International Evidence Evaluation Officer who is able to horizon scan, perform literature reviews and synthesize evidence for the needs described above. Key skills and Abilities
* Degree level education or equivalent experience in a humanities, health and social care or science related discipline. Experience in systematic reviews and evidence Evaluation. Experience in qualitative or quantitative research methods. Ability to deliver projects to a deadline
