The Senior Credit Manager, Lloyds Bank Cardnet Merchant Services is a key leadership role within our Business & Commercial Banking Credit Risk and Merchant Services Leadership Teams.
Merchant Services is a key growth business with a multi-million, multi-year investment plan. As a Merchant Services Credit Lead, you'll have an opportunity to shape risk appetite, deploy new ways of working, deliver growth through insightful decision making, use and develop industry leading risk management tools and strategies, and ultimately make a genuine difference to our customers.
This is your chance to be a leader and role model for our Credit Risk and Merchant Services teams in Business & Commercial Banking. Using your industry leading insights, you'll bring leadership and strong risk management skills to support customers and help our business grow within the Bank's risk appetite framework.
Day-to- day you will:
* Be an active member of the Credit Risk and Merchant Services Leadership teams
* Lead and role model the Credit Risk team, coaching and inspiring colleagues within and across teams to help them grow, reach their potential and succeed together
* Be the Bank's Merchant Services Credit Risk subject matter expert, making credit risk decisions, finding solutions and informing risk management discussions to support customers and business growth

What you'll need
* Proven excellence and market insights in credit risk management in a UK commercial banking or payments environment over an extended period
* Technology leadership, advising on best-in-class merchant services technology solutions to manage credit and fraud risks
* A track record of being able to drive growth through new and innovative credit risk methodologies, strategies and automated decisioning
* Excellent client and portfolio management skills, supporting customers in financial difficulty whilst managing risks within defined risk appetite
* Experience in delivering change, transforming teams and redesigning processes
* A track record across multiple teams of developing and inspiring colleagues to grow, develop and maximise their potential
* Great stakeholder management skills with colleagues at all levels utilising your excellent communication and influencing skills
