About the Role:
Our client, a growing and innovative law firm based in Manchester, is looking for an experienced Head of Personal Injury to lead their personal injury department. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of post-qualification experience and proven expertise in civil exposure and handling personal injury claims.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the personal injury department, ensuring effective case management and high standards of client service.
* Oversee a team of solicitors, paralegals, and support staff, providing guidance and ensuring smooth operations.
* Handle complex and high-value personal injury claims, including civil exposure cases.
* Develop and implement strategies to grow the department and increase profitability.
* Ensure full compliance with industry standards, maintaining a commitment to excellence and quality in service delivery.
* Take a hands-on approach to client management, providing expert legal advice and ensuring successful outcomes.
* Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure integrated and effective service delivery.
* Maintain a high level of professional development and stay updated with industry trends and legal developments.
About You:
The ideal candidate for the Head of Personal Injury role will be:
* A qualified solicitor with over 7 years of PQE, ideally with civil exposure experience.
* Demonstrable leadership experience, with a proven track record in managing a team and driving department growth.
* Experienced in handling personal injury claims and providing strategic legal advice.
* Knowledgeable in compliance and maintaining high standards in service delivery.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage both clients and team members effectively.
* Highly organized, with strong decision-making skills and the ability to manage complex cases.
* Ambitious, with a desire to progress in a leadership role.
* Polish-speaking skills are a plus, but not essential.
