Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in South West England is looking to recruit a Revenues and Benefits Customer Service Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.
This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35 and will offer full time home working.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:
1. Proficiently use the IWorld/Northgate (NEC) Revenues and Benefits processing System
2. Assist customers with queries relating to the Billing, Collection and Recovery of Council Tax in person face to face
3. Open, close and amend customer accounts
4. Take Council Tax Payments and set up direct debits
5. Advise on discounts and exemptions
6. Handle moves in and out of properties
7. Assist customers with queries relating to Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support/Reduction in person face to face
8. Advise claimants on Benefits entitlements and legislation changes
9. Request documents from claimants which are required for Benefits Assessments
10. Liaise with internal departments and external organisations
11. Handle all forms of correspondence
