Salary: £13.00 per hour / £487.50 per week / £25,350 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
A local, well-established employer based in Poole is currently seeking to recruit for a Machine Operator to work within their manufacturing shop floor on a permanent basis.
The role will see you work with small metal parts, loading them into a machine and checking that they have been made correctly.
You will be doing one-offs and also batch runs of multiple items.
Experience of operating any production machines would be advantageous (training on these machines will be given). Experience of working in a fast-paced environment is also an advantage.
Working within a small team, you will be:
1. Operating production machines
2. Setting up machinery and equipment
3. Working to job sheet and customer orders
4. Undertaking any other duties to help out the team

1. Have previous experience of operating machines within an engineering/manufacturing environment
2. Ability to work at a quick pace
3. Quick learner
4. Excellent attention to detail
5. Ability to work confidently and efficiently as part of a team
6. Knowledge of working safely in the workplace is important
