Job Duties:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 children
* Follow the KS1 National Curriculum and school's own curriculum
* Assess and evaluate children's progress to provide feedback and support their development
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment to meet the diverse needs of children
* Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure effective communication and children's welfare
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events
* Support children's academic, social, emotional, and mental health development
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Enhanced DBS clearance
* Knowledge of the national curriculum for Key Stage 1
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in Key Stage 1
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to differentiate approaches to meet individual children's needs
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with SEN students
