We’re looking for a confident Logistics/Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team in Long Eaton. You’ll play an important part in keeping our overall supply chain running smoothly by ensuring smooth product movement from end to end.
BASIC SALARY: £27,500 – £32,500

JOB DESCRIPTION: Import/Wholesale/Design – Supply Chain
Reporting to our Operations Director, you’ll play a pivotal part in fitting the pieces of the supply chain puzzle together and supporting the business in ensuring timely delivery of orders to customers of every size, from major UK retailers to local furniture stores.
Day to day, you will:
· Liaise with European factories to create production and dispatch plans
· Ensure a high level of on time in full delivery is achieved for all customers
· Plan cost effective truck loads and transport
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Import/Wholesale/Design – Supply Chain
Ideally, you’ll have experience within the furniture, fabrics or textiles industries, but that isn’t a deal breaker. If you have had experience of working in a manufacturer and/or any exposure to an international supply chain that would be great. Ultimately, we will consider a variation of backgrounds and the right person is crucial to our business, so we are happy to train the particulars.
What’s most important to us is:
· Being proficient with Microsoft Excel and Access and have exposure to GoogleSheets.
· You have a desire to get the job done and work as part of our small but passionate team.
· You’ll have a can-do attitude and take on any task to ensure we reach our objectives.
· A desire to improve on and continuously shape existing processes.
· Having a confidence to take initiative and manage stakeholders at all levels.
