Project Manager Infrastructure Location: Winchester / Remote Contract: Temporary (up to 18 months) Salary: Up to £42.68 per hour PAYE (£55 per hour Umbrella, £60.50 per hour Agency) Myn is recruiting for our long-term client in Winchester. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support major infrastructure and regeneration projects. The Role As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of capital works, working closely with senior leaders, contractors, and stakeholders. You will ensure projects run smoothly, meet deadlines, and deliver long-lasting benefits to the community. The projects you could be involved in include: Bus Service Improvement Plan improving public transport infrastructure. City Centre Road Reconfiguration reshaping the road network to support regeneration. District and Local Town Centres enhancing public spaces in shopping areas. You will manage projects from start to finish, coordinate teams, and oversee budgets. You will also support junior project managers, helping them develop their skills. Key Responsibilities Deliver capital projects in line with strategic regeneration goals. Oversee project budgets and ensure cost control. Lead and support junior team members. Engage stakeholders, including council officers, consultants, and contractors. Manage procurement and contracts, ensuring compliance. Identify and mitigate risks, keeping projects on track. What Were Looking For Essential Qualifications & Experience HND/Degree in a relevant subject (e.g., Civil Engineering, Project Management). Project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner) or membership of a professional body (e.g., APM). Strong project management experience in civil engineering or infrastructure. Proven leadership in managing projects from start to finish. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Technical expertise in contracts (e.g., NEC) and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project). Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and problem-solve under pressure.
