The Project Manager within the Business Technology ITSM Operations team plays a critical role in driving organizational success by ensuring the successful delivery of projects that align with strategic objectives and meet stakeholder expectations. Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budget estimates. Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Establish project governance framework and communication plan. Project Execution: Lead project kick-off meetings and communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders. Monitor project progress against plan, identify deviations, and take corrective actions as necessary. Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure timely project delivery. Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and reporting to stakeholders. Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, sponsors, and team members. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives. Address stakeholder concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely manner. Quality Assurance: Define quality standards and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct regular quality reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement. Implement quality control measures to mitigate risks and maintain project quality. Change Management: Assess and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources. Evaluate change requests and their potential impacts on project objectives. Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders and obtain necessary approvals. Project Closure: Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate lessons learned and identify best practices. Prepare project closure reports, including documentation of project outcomes, deliverables, and performance metrics. Facilitate the transition of project deliverables to operational teams as needed. Project Management qualifications/ certification (Prince2, Agile) Proven experience managing projects within a PMO or similar environment Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Flexibility, Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multi- disciplined environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
